I have to say that during the spring and summer while softball, baseball, soccer and lacrosse are going on, you can catch a fun game with parents cheering on their kids in so many places. I enjoy the parents and belonging to this community where we have these places for our kids to play sports and learn about being on a team. The best part is these games are free and, of course, I always seem to spend $5 to $10 at the concession stand, but, hey, you have to eat and you might as well support those fields and the staff that cares for them.

Horseheads is located in the Southern Tier with easy access to the highway, the Finger Lakes, great shopping, and beautiful scenery. This area has the the second largest wine producing region of the country surrounding it, as well as the glider soaring capital of the country. The town is small enough to get really involved in schools and community activities!
