Plumsted Township School District is comprised of 4 public schools that educate children from Pre-k through High School. My three children have gone through the public school system here starting with New Egypt Primary School (which teaches pre-K through 1st grade) on through graduating high school (the youngest is still a Sophomore at NEHS), and I am proud of the education they have received and the lessons they have learned both in and out of the classroom. New Egypt schools provide a small town quality in education where teachers and parents work closely together to ensure a child's success. They also offer a high tech modern day approach to learning that bigger districts have without children being "lost in the shuffle". In addition to the Primary School, the district has Dr. Gerald H. Woehr Elementary School (grades 2-5, renamed from New Egypt Elementary School after our beloved Superintendent retired), New Egypt Middle School (grades 6-8) and New Egypt High School, home of the Warriors. With outstanding athletic teams that often compete for division and state titles as well as music, arts and performing arts programs, students at NEHS are encouraging to "try something new" and never forget their Warrior Pride!
