Last spring, my family and I loved the Food Truck Fiesta at Mercer County Park in West Windsor. We encourage you to check it out for yourself this April 18 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Festival grounds of the park. With over 20 food trucks with food from all over the world as well as NJ favorites (Pork Roll!), beer and wine vendors, a kids zone and even live music, you can make a day of this and have a great time.

The two bands playing are Kindred Spirit and the Philadelphia Funk Authority, whom I've seen last year at the concert series in the park and are really good! Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and come enjoy some great food and music! Come enjoy Mercer County Park!
  • Christmas means many things. For most families, it's a time for a family gathering in a warm and cozy place with gifts, an abundance of food and perhaps hot cocoa for the kids! But for others, Christmas is a time to celebrate a different kind of tradition -- one that has been ongoing for about 60 years!

George Washington's Christmas Day Delaware River Crossing will be re-enacted, as it has been for so many years, on Christmas Day! Weather permitting, the re-enactors will embark from the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware River to the New Jersey side at Washington Crossing Historic Park, located at Routes 532 and 32 (River Road). The crossing is set to commence at 1:00 pm. For more information, check out the link below and also read some more about the history of the re-enactment in the December 3rd edition of "Town Topics". Let's hope for a safe and pleasant journey for all involved!

Trenton's Arm and Hammer Stadium hosts the Trenton Thunder baseball games throughout the spring and summer. This is a fantastic day or evening activity for baseball fans or just anyone looking for something fun to do. The games are inexpensive ($10 -$12 per seat) and there are lots of fun activities, great food stands and beautiful views of the Delaware River from the stadium. Take a look at the short (one minute) video below for an overview of the stadium during a game..
